# mpg123/cfg - "Build" settings for package

[technotes]

1. Older versions  of "mpg123" had a  problematic license.  Therefore,
some distros (including this one) used "mpg321" instead of "mpg123" in
the past.  However, the license issues have been  corrected.  The main
"mpg123" source tarball is presently distributed under the LGPL.

2. Upstream  has  stated that some files  related to "mpg123" are dis-
tributed  separately under the GPL (as opposed to the LGPL).  However,
as of 2007, it appeared that the main "mpg123" source tarball was 100%
LGPL.

3. This "cfg" file creates a symbolic link named  "mpg321" that points
to  the  new  version  of the  "mpg123" executable.  This should allow
"mpg321"-dependent programs to work, in most cases.
