# xfishtank/cfg - "Build" settings for package

[technotes]

1. This package builds this distro's  enhanced version of "xfishtank".
Note: It's descended from Willem Vermin's fork.

2. Two  less-realistic and somewhat distracting  sea animals have been
dropped: an eel and a "chomping teeth" creature of some type.

#---------------------------------------------------------------------

3. Seven new sea animals have been added:  angler fish,  crab,  jelly-
fish, mosasaurus, seahorse, starfish, and tuna fish.

The new images were generated by AI.

4. Licenses:

License for the older parts is in the file COPYING that you'll find in
the source  code. The images for the six new animals may be used under
the same license.

The  ocean  background  image is included in this tree.  However, this
version  of "xfishtank"  doesn't display the image directly.  Instead,
it's added by this distro's wallpaper code.

The license  for the  ocean background  image is:  Creative Commons CC
BY-SA 4.0.  Attribution to  Ciera Elizabeth  Hoover  [SugarMoonWitch].
She's  requested attribution under the names  indicated  above and the
following link in the docs:

      https://sugarmoonwitch.com/

There is  presently no conflict between the COPYING license and the CC
license as the image isn't part of the package and is instead display-
ed at a different level.
