The "Baramond*.ttf"  files  contain a set of  TTF fonts  known collec-
tively as "Baramond".

"Baramond is freeware.  The  digitized  font data of  Garamond Antiqua
were previously available for free from Hewlett Packard; thanks to the
many correspondents who have pointed out that this  no longer seems to
be the case.  The digitized  font data for the  ligature characters of

General information about Baramond:

"Baramond  is a  version of  the classic  Garamond typeface.  Based on
Original  Garamond,  also  known  as  Garamond  Antiqua,  it  features
straight, flag-shaped serifs for elegant readability.  Uniquely, Bara-
mond includes  the typographical ligatures for the characters  fi, fl,
ff, ffi and ffl, all accessible from within the standard Windows char-
