# libvpx108/cfg - "Build" settings for package

[technotes]

1. This package  needs  to be built  on a system with  the appropriate
target architecture. I.e.: Cross-compile doesn't work.

2. "libvpx108"  shouldn't be updated  to a new 1.8.X  upstream release
until/unless  it's confirmed that all packages that depend on "libvpx-
108" will build with the new release.

3. The source tarball used by this package was created as follows:

3a. Download an upstream source tarball from:

      https://chromium.googlesource.com/webm/libvpx/+archive/\
v1.8.2.tar.gz

3b. The upstream source tarball is  missing a  top-level source direc-
tory. Add the missing top-level source directory. Name it as follows:

      libvpx-1.8.2

3c. Execute a command similar to:

      tar jcf libvpx-1.8.2.tar.bz2 libvpx-1.8.2
