1. The source tarball used by this package was created  based on "git"
upstream sources. The sources were obtained as follows:

      ocgitfetch --run \
https://github.com/ilyakurdyukov/jpeg-quantsmooth.git

2. This distro's version of "jpegqs" includes these changes:

      (a) Enable "--optimize"  mode automatically  [and therefore drop
          the option switch]
      (b) Change default quality setting from 3 to 6
      (c) Disable use of "-march=native"
      (d) Fix a typo in the "jpegqs" "man"-page
